How to Join

How do I become a member?
Contact any member in our "Members" section to be a guest at one of our weekly meetings. If you attend one of our meetings, you'll notice three things about our chapter:

  • We are very friendly and welcoming, and serious about our chapter.

  • Our meetings are structured to accomplish our business and referral goals efficiently and on time, so we can all get on with the rest of our business day.

  • We are there for one purpose and one purpose only... to grow our businesses.

We invite you to attend one of our meetings and see for yourself how effective BNI is, and how effective it could be for your business. A representative of our membership committee will be happy to discuss membership options with you after the meeting.

I want to join, but I noticed that my profession is already represented in your chapter?
If your profession is already represented in the Networking Summit chapter, do not let this discourage you from attending a Networking Summit chapter meeting. Many times we will seperate general categories into specialities in an effort to make room for more members. For example, if there is someone in the chapter whose profession is "insurance" and they cover a wide range of services in the insurance industry, and you would like to come in as an auto insurance agent. The "insurance" person would have to narrow his category to a specific area. In this case, he could choose to cover health and life insurance. This presents an opportunity for you to join as an auto insurance agent.

The purpose of this practice is to increase membership. Logic dictates that the more members there are, the more referrals are passed, and ultimately the more business for all of the members.

If your profession is not as broad, for example a chiropractor, and it is represented in our chapter, feel free to come to a meeting anyway. Attending a meeting in person will give you a good idea of how BNI is structured. We will help you to find a chapter where your profession is not represented.
